Concept "Sketch"

So here it is... for those who are not familiar the random objects, they are drawings from Archigram's Instant and Walking City. I'm not completely sure where I'm going with this, or where I want to take it, but this image appeals to me. Hopefully the phantom is beginning to be contained.

  1. Ja, I really love your choice of precedent. Archigram's ideas have been floating for a long time but their wacky and quirky notions are inspiringly demanding on our imaginations to this day. Their appeal is in the technological fidelity and willingness to carry through science fiction-esque predictions that are oftentimes limited to those few robotic procedures we've only as-yet accomplished. The fact just a handful of projects were ever implemented leaves some questions to be answered as to what keeps us from making them real. The natural emergence that arises, almost a safari or preserve kind of ethic is suggested by giant roaming buildings. I think it could promise a kind of play on human systems as being a subset a higher order of architecture-life. Obviously if you achieve levitation some serious lines can be crossed.
